“Petrol Price Relaxation: Diesel Cheaper Than Super E10 with Room for Further Reductions Says ADAC Evaluation”

After the price increases for Super E10 and diesel in the last few weeks, there are currently signs of a slight relaxation at the petrol pumps. With diesel, at 2.3 cents to 1.678 euros, the national average is significantly greater than the drop in Super E10. According to the ADAC evaluation, the price for a liter here is 1.820 euros, which is 0.2 cents below the previous week’s price. There is also little change in the price of crude oil compared to the comparable period. According to the auto club, there is still room for price reductions.

Due to the cheaper diesel and the hardly changed petrol price, the difference between Super E10 and diesel has increased again. Normalization continues here: the price difference between the two varieties is currently over 14 cents. In contrast, diesel is charged around 20 cents less than Super E10 due to the lower energy tax. (awm)
