Mainly in the nineties of the last century, Lasse Kjus was among the best alpine skiers on the planet. He has five Olympic medals and eleven precious metals from the World Championships.
Currently, the 51-year-old from Oslo, Norway has visited Slovakia as a guest at the business conference of the Slovak Savings Bank. He had a sports career for more than 16 years, but later focused on business again and built his own sportswear brand. He achieved success in ski clothing and later innovated golf clothing as well.
During his stay in Bratislava, he admitted that he also uses the experience of his career as an athlete in his business. “As an athlete, you don’t have a so-called safety net, you learn to function in an uncertain world. I was therefore prepared for this when doing business. Many people work for a long time in the same position in a safe space for life.
