Petkov with big castlings in three ministries

By order of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, two deputy ministers have been appointed.

Valentin Chambov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture. He has a master’s degree in forestry and graduated from the University of Forestry in Sofia. He is a member of the Management Board of the Union of Foresters in Bulgaria. Chambov is a longtime employee of the Executive Forest Agency. He has participated in numerous working and expert groups at the bodies of the European Commission in Brussels.

Colonel Stanimir Georgiev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense. He graduated with a degree in “Engineer for operation and repair of communications and RTO means” and a master’s degree in “Radio Electronics Engineer” at VVVU “Georgi Benkovski”. He also has a master’s degree in military affairs from the GS Rakovski Military Academy.

He studied strategic courses in the United States, France, Germany and at the NATO Defense College in Rome. Colonel Stanimir Georgiev has worked in the NATO Regional Command for Northern Europe – AFNORH, Brunssum, the Netherlands. He was in the permanent delegation of Bulgaria to NATO. At NATO Headquarters in Brussels, he was a Staff Officer for Defense Capabilities Development in the Directorate

“Defense Investment” of the NATO International Staff. Georgiev is a longtime employee of the Ministry of Defense.

By another order of the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, Konstantin Hadjiivanov was relieved of the post of Deputy Minister of Education and Science.
