Pertamina Opens Voice about Buying Pertalite Mandatory MyPertamina Register Per August 1st

Jakarta

PT Pertamina (Persero) has not determined the exact date of the restriction on the purchase of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) of Pertalite and Solar types. This is in response to the news circulating regarding the use of the MyPertamina application starting August 1, 2022.

Rumors circulated that starting on that date, only consumers who have registered with MyPertamina will be served. When asked for confirmation by detikcom, Pertamina stated that it had not yet determined the implementation date of the MyPertamina QR Code application.

“We have not determined the implementation date of the QR Code,” said Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting to detikcom, Saturday (23/7/2022).

Irto stated that Pertamina urges people who feel they have the right to use subsidized fuel to immediately register themselves. Registration can be done at the registration booth prepared at the gas station through the subsiditepat.mypertamina.id web or through the MyPertamina application.

On that occasion, Irto also said that he was waiting for the revision of Presidential Regulation No. 191 of 2014 concerning the Supply, Distribution and Retail Selling Price of Fuel Oil (BBM) along with technical instructions for purchasing Pertalite. “We are also waiting for the revision of Presidential Regulation 191,” he said briefly.

Irto again reminded that BBM purchases are not required to use the MyPertamina application. Consumers simply show the QR Code that has been printed, or stored on the cellphone.

“And for purchases, it is also not required to use the MyPertamina application, it is enough to show the QR Code that has been printed or stored on the cellphone,” concluded Irto.
