PT Pertamina (Persero) admitted that it had poured more than Rp. 2 trillion to help deal with the pandemic covid-19 in the country. Assistance is provided in various forms.
“Since the pandemic, Pertamina’s assistance (calculated) is currently more than IDR 2 trillion. Last month I checked it was more than IDR 1.5 trillion,” said Acting Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Fajriyah Usman in the FMB9 discussion, Thursday (15/15). 7).
He detailed the assistance provided by Pertamina in the form of distributing masks, gloves, and supplies hand sanitizer. Then, this state-owned oil and gas company also provides ventilator assistance.
“We are running more than 300 ventilator units for this hospital,” added Fajriyah.
Then, Pertamina also built an emergency hospital in the Tanjung Duren area. The hospital is planned to be filled with 300 beds.
“Hopefully this emergency hospital can also help with availability (in the field),” said Fajriyah.
Then, Pertamina also provides vaccination facilities in various branches. This is to accelerate the vaccination program in Indonesia.
“We are coordinating with the Ministry of SOEs and the Ministry of Health,” concluded Fajriyah.
