Communication lights also use a special light signature at the front and rear of the car to indicate Park Assist status when the car is in Park Assist mode. This makes it clear to nearby road users that they can approach the car safely.
With up to eight digital light signatures for the front and rear lights, drivers can enjoy a new level of freedom in personalizing their Audi Q6 e-tron. Customers can choose the signature in one of two ways via the “myAudi” app or in the car via the MMI. Six additional lighting signatures are available as an option when you arrive or leave, plus a matching digital light signature.
Using the myAudi app, customers can activate their personal light signatures when outside the car and experience the dynamic lighting and light signature function set when arriving home or leaving. The same goes for the communication lights in the second-generation digital OLED taillights and the proximity detection function. Matrix LED headlights are able to demonstrate the anti-glare function of signs and masking of objects.
To personalize the Audi Q6 e-tron even more, customers can additionally purchase the digital light signature for the LED headlights/Matrix LED headlights and the digital OLED rear lights after purchasing the car via the “Functions on Demand” equipment. Customers may purchase certain additional equipment for an indefinite or limited time. This option allows Audi customers to personalize their Q6 e-tron with up to eight digital light signatures to match the customer’s preferences.
