TRIBUNJABAR.ID – Persib Bandung is scheduled to visit the Dewa United Training Ground, Bogor Regency, this Monday (22/1/2024).
Persib Bandung tried out against Dewa United during the 2023-2024 League 1 competition break.
Persib head coach, Bojan Hodak, said that he would use the trial match with Dewa United to find out who was eligible to compete in the match week 24 against Persis Solo, Sunday (4/2).
Therefore, the score of the test match against Dewa United is not the main target, but rather the suitability of the players’ play with their “newest” composition to face the remaining matches this season.

“The priority is to see young players and see them play together. So, that’s why I will combine them later,” said Hodak when met at the Sidolig Stadium, Bandung, Saturday (20/1/2024).
Persib won against Dewa United in their last meeting in the second round of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 competition.
Persib won 5-1 at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, 26 November 2023.
In that match, David da Silva and Ciro Alves scored the goals.
David created brace (48′, 68′), while Ciro scored hat-trick (5′, 31′, 62′).
In the match in the first round of Liga 1 2023/2024, the team nicknamed Prince Biru was able to hold Dewa United to a draw, after the score ended 2-2 at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) on July 14 2023.
In that match, Rachmat Irianto and Ezra Walian were the saviors after scoring goals in the 63′ and 90+2′ minutes, even though they were trailing 2-0 to Dewa United.
Persib is said to be superior to Dewa United in terms of their head to head record.
It is recorded that since their first meeting in the 2022/2023 Liga 1 competition, Persib has met in four matches with Dewa United.
