Persib Bandung: 22 Players for Bali Match Against Arema FC in League 1 2023/2024

Persib Bandung brought 22 players to Bali to face Arema FC in the second week of League 1 2023/2024 match Friday (7/7/2013) at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Bali. Persib departed for Bali on Thursday (6/7/2023) afternoon, after previously practicing first in the morning at Persib Stadium, Sidolig Bandung.

The departure of the H-1 team ahead of the match was the policy of head coach Luis Milla. This has been in effect since last season. Milla was willing to miss the opportunity to do field trials for I Wayan Dipta. The Spaniard gave his reasons.

According to him, the distance from Bandung to Bali can be reached in just a few hours by plane. He provides many opportunities for players to have lots of time with their families before competing.

“Leaving D-1 is normal. With planes, this includes short distances. Apart from that, players also have more time to rest with their families at home. That is natural and normal to leave on D-1,” said Milla.

According to Milla, preparation in Bandung with the availability of a qualified field is better than forcing them to practice in Bali. So that players can be ready to provide optimal resistance against Arema.

“The preparations went well and according to plan. We know we will face a good team and for this match, we brought 22 players,” he said.

Here are the 22 players brought by Persib to Bali:
Goalkeepers: Teja Paku Alam, Fitrul Dwi Rustapa, Sheva Sanggasi.
Defenders: Nick Kuipers, Alberto Rodriguez, Kakang Rudianto, Victor Igbonefo, Daisuke Sato, Edo Febriansah, I Putu Gede, Rezaldi Hehanussa.
