People in their thirties gets second season due to success through postponed viewing | NOW

The drama series Thirties gets a second season because of the large number of viewers who watched the series at a time of their own choosing, NPO director Video Frans Klein will AD know.

The series attracted an average of about 250,000 viewers per episode, but via NPO Start and the paid streaming service NPO Plus, the program was streamed 5.3 million times in six weeks.

The NPO has not yet announced when the second season of Thirties appears.

Especially the short period in which the number of streams was achieved is special according to the NPO. The public broadcaster achieved the highest on-demand figures with the program The Lice Motherstreamed 15 million times.

A May debuted Thirties with 419,000 viewers. That number dropped to about 250,000 in later episodes.
