The actor Pedro Pascal, protagonist of the series Star Wars “The Mandalorian”, is about to add a new project in Hollywood. The Chilean negotiates to join together with Nicolas cage to the cast of “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” to play a follower of Cage himself.
According to an exclusive published this Thursday by the specialized newspaper The Wrap, Pascal will play Javi, a fan of Nicolas Cage that gets the well-known actor to attend his birthday party.
Apparently, the script of the film will be a parody on the idealization of the famous. From what is known, he will narrate an episode in which Cage, playing himself, has to act according to his most popular characters to be up to the occasion.
Tom Gormican (“Ghosted” and “That Awkward Moment”) will direct this film, whose production is expected to begin within the next few months.
For his part, after his success in “Narcos”, Pascal will soon premiere the second season of “The Mandalorian”, the first series derived from the Star Wars universe launched by Disney on its streaming platform and which has become one of the candidates for best drama at the next Emmy Awards with 15 nominations.
Meanwhile, Pedro waits for the premiere of “Wonder Woman 1984” set for October 2, where he will play Maxwell Lord, a ruthless businessman who owns a powerful relic.
