The Chinese are going to court! The company behind the TikTok app wants to use this to challenge a decree of US President Donald Trump. Trump demands that TikTok sell its American division within 90 days.
Opposite CNN TikTok says they have no other choice and are therefore forced to go to court: “To make sure that justice is done and our company and our users are treated fairly,” said the Chinese tech company.
The United States – through Trump – sees a major security risk in TikTok. The Chinese government would access user data from users through the parent company, and we all know we have to be a little bit careful of too much Chinese influence.
