NBCUniversal Company announcedthat Peacock’s TV adaptation of Twisted Metal became the most binge-watched comedy in online cinema.
On average, users watched three episodes in a row. And some even finished the entire season in one sitting.
The streaming service didn’t say how many Twisted Metal were watched in total, but the show appears to be in Peacock’s top five original projects.
The series reached 400 million minutes watched on its first weekend, according to the analytics firm.
A 10-episode TV adaptation of Twisted Metal starring Anthony Mackie aired on July 27.
Critics greeted the series coolly – on Metacritic it has 53 points. But ordinary viewers liked it more.
