PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto expressed his gratitude for the congratulations on the 51st Anniversary PDIP which was conveyed by presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan. Hasto said that his party was fighting together in the elections.
“Thank you Mr. Anies for your birthday greetings, and together we will fight so that the people’s elections are sovereign to determine the best leader,” said Hasto during a tumpengan in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/1/2024).
Hasto invited us to face the election process together. Apart from that, Hasto said, his party and candidate number 1 would both face intimidation and pressure from the authorities during the 2024 presidential election.
“We face together the forces of intimidation, those who try to abuse power,” he said.
Then, Hasto also expressed his gratitude for the words from vice presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka. “Yes, thank you,” he said.
Previously, Anies Baswedan wished PDIP a happy 51st birthday. Anies said this in a post on his Instagram story.

At the bottom of the PDIP symbol, congratulations are written. “Happy 51st Anniversary of the PDI Perjuangan January 10 2024 from Anies R. Baswedan,” read the greeting.
