PDIP Politician Budiman Sudjatmiko to Explain Meeting with Prabowo Subianto to PDIP Chairperson

PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) politician Dear Sudjatmiko is ready to give an explanation to the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani after a meeting with the reading president of Gerindra Prabowo Subianto. PDIP Senior Politician Hendrawan Supratikno thinks this step is the right one.

“Good. The right step. Recently BS (Budiman Sudjatmiko) has been obsessed with problems neuro-science, bio-politics, artificial intelligence, and technological innovation. He shares through writing and seminars. He needs a forum for discussion that challenges his ideas,” said Hendrawan when contacted, Friday (21/7/2023).

Hendrawan said Budiman was actively talking about progress. He suspects that Budiman is missing dialectics.

“He talks a lot about olgarithmic hills, looking for game changers to make leaps of progress, Indonesia’s necessity to adopt high technology, and so on. I think he misses dialectics, not only with himself, but also with his environment,” he said.

Furthermore, Budiman is also obliged to clarify the meeting with Prabowo to PDIP. This is to avoid accusations.

“Clarification is necessary, so that there is no distortion of information,” he said.

Previously, PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) politician Budiman Sudjatmiko admitted that he had not received official information regarding the schedule for his summons by the PDIP Honorary Council after holding a meeting with presidential candidate Gerindra Prabowo Subianto. Budiman plans to convey his explanation to the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharan.

“I read that the news (will be summoned on August 15) even though I haven’t received an official notification. Even so, of course I will chat with PDI Perjuangan DPP officials informally. And since Ms Puan has also said in the media that I was asked to explain the reasons for my visit to Pak Prabowo, of course I will explain it to Ms Puan,” Budiman told reporters, Friday (21/7).

Budiman emphasized that the PDI-P Honorary Council had not been informed of the official schedule for calling for clarifications until now. Even so, he believed that his relationship with the PDIP DPP would not be problematic after his visit to Prabowo’s residence.

“Not officially yet. I’m sure it will be fine because I also used to have discussions with Mr. Komarudin Watubun (Head of the DPP PDIP for Honor) when I was still in the DPR,” he said.
