Gaius said that the PDIP’s lawsuit at the PTUN was related to the violation of the KPU law when it accepted the nomination of Gibran as a vice-presidential candidate. “I ask that the KPU adhere to legal principles, without causing a delay in justice, to postpone the decision (Prabowo-Gibran) until there is a definite decision from the PTUN,” said Gayus at Office DPP PDIP, Central Jakarta Tuesday, April 23 2024.
According to Gaius, the KPU must delay the Prabowo-Gibran decision so that justice does not happen too late or justice delayed. The reason is that the decision of KPU may conflict with the decision of PTUN if the PDIP lawsuit is granted later.

“The decision of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates selected for the 2024 Election registered by the KPU will be held on Wednesday, 24 April 2024 at 10.00 WIB at the KPU office,” said Hasyim at the Building of the Constitutional Court, Central Jakarta, on Monday, 22 April 2024.
