The developers of the cooperative first-person shooter Payday 3 suddenly decided to remove Denuvo anti-piracy protection. The news about the use of this protection became known at the beginning of last month, but now the developers have decided to abandon its use in the full version of the game.

This decision was announced SBZ_Almir from Starbreeze Studios, who reported the following to the gaming community:

Hello, robbers! We want to let you know that Denuvo is no longer in PAYDAY 3. We look forward to seeing you in New York! Happy robbery!

This move has received positive reactions from players, with many applauding the developers’ decision as Denuvo’s anti-piracy protection can cause some technical issues and limitations when playing.

Payday 3 will be released on September 21st.
