Paul Furlan (PS) will leave the Mayor’s office in Thuin on March 24, Sudinfo.be and Télésambre announced on Tuesday evening. He will hand over his scarf to the president of the CPAS, Marie-Eve Van Laethem.
Born in 1962, the former Walloon Minister for Local Government, swept away by the Publifin storm, wishes to devote himself entirely to his mandate as a deputy in the Walloon Parliament, where he has been sitting for more than 20 years. Mr. Furlan became mayor of Thuin in 2000.
