Matthijs van Nieuwkerk is a guest in the podcast and tries to find out everything about Paul’s interview experience with Adele.
In 2015, the last meeting between Adele and Paul took place. He was then invited for an interview in London at Adele’s request. Her appearance has of course undergone a major transformation, but her personality has not changed much, Paul says: “She has remained very much herself.” And yes, Adele still recognized him, according to the presenter.
Despite the many encounters between Adele and Paul, he was very nervous before the interview. “I’ve never seen Paul so nervous,” says live voice-over Hans Kesting, who was also allowed to go to England.
