Patrik Kincl Dominates in Third Title Defense, UFC Veteran Calls for Next Fight – OKTAGON News Update

Patrik Kincl has a third title defense behind him, but it was not easy at all. In the fight with Wawrzyniak, Patrik got into a big crisis mainly in the second round, which luckily he was able to survive. He then turned the tide in the third round when he got into a dominant position from which he locked in a choke that the Pole tapped away. Following the win, an experienced UFC veteran from the 40th place in the world ranking, who would be worth the fight, spoke up.

Banned Reza Madadi broke the silence and leaned into both Wanliss and OCTAGON

“Let’s go champion, Patrick Kincle. OKTAGONNo, I’m next in line,” UFC veteran Jotko, who is ranked 40th in the semi-heavyweight rankings, is speaking again. In the past, however, Polák was even higher. For a time, he occupied the 13th place in the middleweight category, which is already quite an achievement.

It is Jotko who has been applying for a job in OKTAGON for a long time, but so far unsuccessfully. He was already heard following the fight between Vémola and Pirát, which ended with a hard KO. However, the management has not yet responded to his requests. Jotko is an experienced fighter, but if he is known for anything, it is that he has a very unattractive style and rather boring matches. However, considering that he has been in the UFC and PFL, he will surely ask for a lot of money, so he probably won’t be worth it to OKTAGON. However, it would definitely be another interesting addition to the middle or semi-heavyweight division.

Kincl and the post-match reaction

“Definitely not, definitely not,” Patrik Kincl responded right after the win to Novotný’s promoter’s question whether he remembers a more heart-breaking OKTAGON match. “It was the biggest win in OCTAGON for me personally. Thank you, Ondro, for this match. I know this sounds like a cliché, every wrestler says it, they couldn’t make it without support and so on. However, for me it is not a cliché. If I hadn’t heard you behind me today and you hadn’t pushed me, I would have lost. Thank you for that.”

The big topic, of course, was how Patrick’s eye would fare, “I thought about it when I went to the cage, but the gong fell and it was gone. However, it is true that there were fears experienced from the training. I was stupidly hiding and dodging. It was early, but this is just dope.’

In the end, Oko held on and Kincl cruised to an important win and a third title defense, extending his reign over the middleweight division of OKTAGON MMA.
