Patras Time: Why the discussion about the train was not included in the Municipal Council

In a statement, the municipal faction “Patra Time”, led by Giorgos Roros, states:

“The Hour of Patras supported and actively participated in the strike mobilizations and protest events for the crime of Tempe.

Through a recent press release, we once again highlighted the problems we had identified on the Kiato-Aigio line and also on the suburban Rio-Kaminia-Kato Achaia.

It is our duty and duty not only to stand by all those who were so unjustly lost, but to keep fresh the memory of all these young people who were lost due to the criminal omissions of the state and the rulers.

It is time to emphasize that our safety is above all kinds of interests and financial costs.

To claim a better tomorrow, safe and dignified.

Unfortunately, the alarm bell from the complaints of the employees was underestimated, undermined, having even been accused of serving expedients or of lying.

The time has come for more light to be shed and accountability to be held. Attempts to offset, diffuse or disclaim responsibility is an attempt at cover-up.

Justice must be left impartially to its task without prompting and instruction…

At the same time, we should all contribute to a calm civilized political climate. The thuggish attacks against politicians, the predation, the manual trials are the sordid designs of dark circles. We answer with full Democracy.

Our city has experienced similar disturbing and dangerous events in the past, it has paid for them with blood.

Our faction called on the Municipal Authority in the previous days to bring the issue of the train to the Municipal Council for discussion. Unfortunately, in the invitation he sent for the Municipal Council on 20/3, the issue is not included for discussion.

We call on the Municipal Authority of Peletidis, the Municipal Authority of Isapostakidos, to bring the issue to the agenda.”
