Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of gold bullion at Pegadaian fell on trading Saturday (11/12). Of the 3 types of Antam and UBS gold of various types and sizes, all experienced a decrease in price. However, the good news is that there is an opportunity for gold prices to rise in the next 3 months.
According to data from Pegadaian’s official website, Antam’s standard gold, which is available in sizes ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams, fell 0.19% to 0.69% compared to Friday’s price.

The drop in the price of gold bullion at Pegadaian was due to the downward pressure on world gold prices. But the good news is that the well-known French investment bank, Societe Generale (SocGen) predicts that the gold price in the first semester of 2022 will reach US$ 1,900/troy ounce or up about 7% from yesterday’s closing level. Last month, SocGen also stated that gold could reach US$ 1,945 in the first quarter of 2022. This means that there is a potential for an increase of almost 10% in the next three months.
If these predictions come true, the price of gold bullion at Pawnshops can certainly go up.
