Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of gold bullion sold by Pegadaian fell today, Sunday (3/4/2022). In fact, next week there is a risk that the decline will continue.
Pegadaian sells 3 types of Antam gold and UBS gold in various sizes/units. The standard type of Antam’s gold today is still empty, seen on the official website of Pegadaian.
Meanwhile, Antam’s retro gold, which is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams today, fell 0.19% to 0.27%.

Antam retro is an old gold bar where the gold and certificate are separate. Retro Antam gold was last produced in 2018.
Then Antam batik gold, the most expensive gold in Pegadaian, but today the decline is the biggest. Gold with a weight of 0.5 grams fell 0.31% to Rp. 637,000/bar, then sizes 1 and 8 grams fell 0.34% and 0.37%, respectively.

Even though it is the most expensive, Pegadaian only sells 3 sizes of Antam batik gold.
Finally, there was UBS gold which decreased 0.19% to 0.3%. Pegadaian sells this gold from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

The price of gold bullion at Pegadaian is strongly influenced by the movement of world gold. When world gold rises, domestic bullion tends to follow.
Analysts on Wall Street predict world gold prices will decline next week, so there is a risk that gold bullion at Pegadaian will also decline.
Kitco’s survey of 18 Wall Street analysts showed 10 people gave their projections bearish (downtrend), 5 analysts bullish (uptrend) and the rest are neutral. The projection is reversed from the previous week in which the majority of analysts bullish to gold.
However, Sean Lusk from Walsh Trading said the decline in gold prices could be an opportunity to buy, because in the long term gold has the opportunity to rise again.
“Who wants to sell gold with current conditions. Investors should see a decline in gold below US $ 1,900/troy ounce as an opportunity to buy,” said Lusk as reported by Kitco, Friday (1/4/2022).
World gold ended Friday’s trading at around US$ 1,924/troy ounce, down 1.7% so far this week.
