PASURUAN, Bromine Radar – After nominating 20 sub-district election committees (PPK), Pasuruan City KPU is now opening registration for the election committee (PPS). Registration for prospective PPS members will run until December 30th.
Commissioner of KPU, Pasuruan City, Sosdiklih Division, Parmas and HR, Nanang Abiding communicated that all agencies to this ready to serve in the upcoming 2024 election. For this reason, recruitment has been initiated starting with sub-district-level administrators at the sub-district level.
Since the previous recruitment, the KPU has established the PPK in each sub-district. This time, the current recruitment is PPS. “The total need is 102 people,” Nanang said.
The number of PPS members recruited is tailored to the needs of each village. Due to the stipulation that every kelurahan must have at least three PPS members.
Even the PPS registration mechanism, Nanang continued, is not much different than when recruiting PPK. In this electoral phase, the KPU applies a minimum use of files in the registration of ad hoc bodies. Everything has been transferred to digital technology.
“The ad hoc body registration in this election is using the Siakba application. So all the potential participants will register later including the completeness of the files through the application,” Nanang said.
