Passengers Put Cats in Airport X-Ray, The Results Shocked

Jakarta

Passenger from Virginia, United States of America accidentally put his cat into the airport x-ray machine. Surprising results emerged.

It’s common practice to bring pets on airplanes in the United States. But this time, there were passengers who took part in putting their pets into the goods inspection machine or x-ray machine.

This happened at Virginia Norfolk International Airport on Friday (3/3/2023) morning local time. TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein tweeted that the passenger accidentally left her cat in her bag and put it into the screening machine.

Reported from Insider, Monday (6/3/2023) the cat was then x-rayed and produced an orange image that clearly showed him crouching. Through the machine can also be seen the bones and internal organs of the cat.

Farbstein then warned passengers not to repeat this one passenger mistake. TSA says that there are other ways to get pets through security checkpoints. The recommended method is to pick up the pet and get into the inspection machine that passengers normally use.

“You must remove cat from bag during security check,” the TSA wrote on instagram.

“Are you worried that the pet might escape from your hands? Speak to our officers about alternative screening which could include a private inspection,” he continued.

Farbstein told The Washington Post in February that no living thing, whether human or animal, should be exposed to X-rays they don’t need.

The TSA’s Instagram account documents multiple instances where pets have appeared on X-ray scans. In January, the TSA posted a video of a 1.2-metre-long boa snake curled up in a passenger’s carry-on bag.
