On the night of Saturday to Sunday, a United Airlines plane from Newark (USA) to Tel Aviv, Israel, had been flying for three hours when an incident occurred. A passenger went to the lavatory, but they were all occupied. He then sat down in a seat reserved for flight attendants to wait.
But a member of the crew came to tell him that he shouldn’t stay there. The other replied that it was only for a few minutes, but the tone rose between the two parties. He was then threatened that if he did not obey, the plane would turn around, explains Ynet.news. A witness to the scene explained that the passenger did not appear to pose a threat. When the plane landed, the passenger was expelled. And, as they waited, the culprit spent hours with them pleading his case, saying the crew had overreacted. Another passenger, annoyed by such an outcome, wrote that in his place, he would have shrunk and disappeared instead of trying to justify himself, writing “The Independent».
