Seville (Spain), Dec. 19, LETA. Latvian basketball player Anžejs Pasečņiks scored 18 points in the Spanish Premier League (ACB) game on Sunday, while his teammate Dairis Bertāns scored nine points and Artūrs Kurucs scored four.
At the home of Real Betis in Seville, represented by Paschnik and Bertan, with a result of 83:87 (21:19, 10:27, 22:17, 30:24), Vitoria “Baskonia” conceded with Kuruc.
Paschnik played his most successful ACB game since April 2017, when he broke his personal record in the Spanish league with 24 points. In the same season, he scored 18 points in the next two most successful games.
On Sunday, the Latvian center player scored seven of ten two-point shots and four of seven “penalties” in 23 minutes and 41 seconds. He also fought three rebounds, made one assertion, made two errors, blocked two shots, broke three times, provoked seven remarks, scored a positive +/- score (+4) and scored 19 efficiency points.
Pasečnik was the most productive player of the match and with Aleksandars Cvetkovičs he was the most productive in his team.

Simone Fontekjo scored the winners with 16 points and nine rebounds.
In another match, Rinald Malman managed to throw in an inaccurate two-point shot in 52 seconds, acknowledging the superiority of Real Madrid at 71:80 at his home in UCAM.
Meanwhile, a positive Covid-19 test was found for 12 people in the Manrez “Baxi” team represented by Mārti Šteinbergs and Jānis Bērziņš, due to which the planned fight against the “Barcelona” unit represented by Roland Schmidt on Sunday was canceled.
