Party Taylor Swift fans leads to major corona outbreak

The singer herself was not present at the party that took place last Friday in the Australian city of Sydney. About six hundred people attended the event. The local health authority in Australia is now calling on partygoers to get tested. She is concerned that the highly contagious Omicron variant is among the nearly 100 positive cases. The party is seen as a ‘super spread event’. Even attendees who have not yet tested positive for the coronavirus are asked to isolate themselves for seven days.

‘Red’ is one of six albums that the American singer has re-recorded and released under her own name. She chose the reissues after a fight with her old label and former manager Scooter Braun. The manager had bought and sold the rights to Swift’s music without consultation for more than 300 million dollars. The singer was furious, because she says she was not offered to buy her music. “Scooter took my life’s work away from me,” she responded.

Braun would also have forbidden her to play old songs live, something he has always denied. Red is her fourth album and was originally released in 2012. More than 7.5 million copies of the album have been sold worldwide. Red features hits like ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, ’22’ and ‘Everything Has Changed’ with Ed Sheeran.
