Landed exclusively temporarily on the Epic Games Store last December, the CRPG Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory is no longer on sale on the digital store. Neither the Bigben editor nor the developers Cyanide and Black Shamrock provided an explanation.
As you can see, the Epic Games Store page of Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory now links to a “page not found”. The title always has a Steam page, where it should land once the temporary exclusivity has ended. Our colleagues from GamesRadar contacted a “game representative” to clarify the situation, but the game claims to be “unable to comment on this event”, while the social media dedicated to the game have been inactive since the end of December. We have contacted Bigben on our side and will update this article as soon as their response reaches us.
Adapting from the paper role-playing game Paranoïa and its futuristic universe, Happiness is Mandatory went on sale stealthily last December after several postponements. The game received a cold critical welcome, including in our columns, in particular because of its repetitiveness.
