Pangandaran Deputy Regent Asks Jayasari Community to Protect the Forest

Pangandaran News (harapanrakyat.com),-Vice Regent (Wabup) Pangandaran RegencyUjang Endin Indrawan asked the community to protect the forest as a source of water.

This was conveyed by Ujang Ending at the milangkala event in Jayasari Village, Lkaplancar District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java, Monday (28/2/2022).

Jayasari Village, Langkaplir Subdistrict, is an expansion village from Pangkalan Village, Jayasari Village blossomed from Pangkalan Village in 1983 or 39 years ago.

The village, which is surrounded by mountains and hills, becomes a water catchment area as well as a source of water for the residents of Jayasari.

“Although it is a division village, Jayasari Village is already on a par with the main village, namely Pangkalan village and other villages in Pangandaran Regency,” he said.

In addition to appreciating the achievements and progress of Jayasari Village, the Deputy Regent of Pangandaran also asked the community to always protect the forest.

“As a village surrounded by mountains, which of course are the lungs of Pangandaran Regency, I ask the community to preserve the forest. Forests are a source of water that must be preserved,” he said.

If the forest is damaged, said Ujang Endin, it will destroy all aspects of life, be it agriculture, fisheries and others.
