Pandemic Makes Bluetooth Headset Demand Skyrocket

JAKARTA – The need for work and school at home has changed the way consumers communicate more or less. As a result, the demand for Bluetooth headsets is increasing because they are considered more comfortable.

This was revealed by Managing Director, ASEAN & Korea, Poly Samir Sayed. “Over the past 18 months we have seen demand skyrocket for flexible, reliable and affordable solutions for workers who are increasingly adopting hybrid work arrangements,” he said.

This is supported by the latest Frost & Sullivan research which states that the global professional UC Bluetooth headset market grew by 88.2% in 2020 to USD591.6 million.

“When companies and employees work on a hybrid basis (at home and in the office), having the right communication tools to support these activities is critical,” said Alaa Saayed, Director of ICT Industry & Fellow, Connected Work, Frost and Sullivan.

Poly itself seeks to answer the demands of a Bluetooth headset for this work through the Poly Voyager 4300 UC.

The wireless headset is unique, because it can be used up to 50 meters from the computer. Then, it supports high-quality audio and several connectivity options.

The Voyager 4300 UC series can be connected to a smartphone or computer, via the BT700 USB adapter.
