RHENEN – The panda cub, which was born in May in Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, is expected to be seen by visitors to the zoo in October. Until then, the bear will remain in the farrowing pen to grow and learn to walk, the zoo said. The young panda will be given a gender-neutral name on Friday, because the caretakers do not yet know whether a male or a female has been born.
