In the hands of Panathinaikos, the home advantage in the playoffs of the Greek championship passed definitively and irrevocably, after the victory over Olympiakos in OAKA: 77-71. with last minute hero Kostas Sloukas. The match, which took place in the third round of the Basket League, was attended by 14,000 enthusiastic spectators at OAKA.
Panathinaikos stepped on the gas after 15-16 with the protagonists of Sluka, Nan, Mitoglou and shot the difference to 17 points against the unrecognizable Olympiakos, 34-17. Fall and Williams-Goss woke up the visitors and the half ended with a score of 38-33.

Nigel Williams-Goss was the star player for Olympiakos with 18 points. Giorgos Bartzokas also lined up Walkup 5, Mitrou-Long, Larentzakis 3, Kanaan 15, McKissick 3, Papanikolaou 4, Peters 10, Fall 10 (9 p.), Wright 3. The injured Petrusev was absent, while Milutinov was left out of the mission .
All those absent from tonight’s derby are expected to play as normal next week in the Euroleague play-offs, where Olympiacos will face Barcelona and Panathinaikos one of Maccabi, Vaskonia. The opponent of the “greens” will be known tomorrow.
