PAN reacted to the elite Democrat Party (PD) Syahrial Nasution’s appeal to Golkar to build a coalition alone. The chairman of the PAN DPP, Saleh Partaonan Daulay, touched on Syahrial Nasution’s level in the internal Democrats.
Saleh initially revealed the internal conditions of the PAN, Golkar, and PPP coalition, namely: United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). He ensured the KIB was solid and unaffected by the appeals of other political parties.
“This KIB has already gone through stages, between Golkar PAN and PPP. We have been running optimally and so far I don’t think there have been any bad issues between the coalition, and everything is fine,” said Saleh. to reporters, Tuesday (5/7/2022).
“And because of that, we also take it easy with such temptations,” he added.
Only then did Saleh think Syahrial’s level was far from being able to consolidate other political parties so that they would form a coalition with the Democrats. Moreover, Saleh said, Democrat General Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Golkar General Chair Airlangga Hartarto had met, who could have already made a decision on the potential for a Democratic coalition with Golkar in 2024.
“Mr Syahrial, I think the level is far away. Because Mas AHY has already met Airlangga,” Saleh explained.
“So their fellow general chairmen certainly have an agreement as well, or also talks that may not be published in the media, and we don’t know what the outcome of the meeting will be,” added the chairman of the DPR PAN faction.
In fact, Saleh also satirized Syahrial’s words of persuasion to Golkar to want to build a coalition alone. Where, Syahrial said, if the Democrats and Golkar form a coalition, it has fulfilled the requirements to be able to carry the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
Saleh said, prior to Syahrial’s seduction, KIB had already met the requirements to be able to carry the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair.
“Then, if there is a proposal like this which says that the Democrats are enough with Golkar, yes, in fact, we are at KIB. aja enough, even more. If you want to reverse it, yes,” said Saleh
