Palma Futsal can’t beat Barça | Radio Mallorca

It was a complicated game that Palma Futsal had to live this morning. Antonio Vadillo’s men faced the difficult event at the Palau de Sant Jordi with the confidence and good taste in their mouths that give two consecutive victories and the leadership, but this time no, it could not be. Barça was ahead first, and the Palma’s have not managed to turn the scoreboard around.

It was a day of tributes, because after the hard news that we knew this week about the – again, and in the other leg – torn ligaments of Mati Rosa, Barça and Palma joined with a banner before the referee whistled, to send a lot of force to your partner. The friendship between the teams stayed there, because as soon as the game started, Barça went with everything. Despite the equality on the floor, one of the many occasions the local team had ended up entering in the 9th minute thanks to a shot from Matheus. The locals scratched first, and the pistachio greens could not turn it around. At least in the first part.

The scoreboard at halftime was 1-0, but as soon as he stepped onto the floor of the Palau at the resumption of the match, Vilela angrily tied the game to start from zero in minute 22. A restart that lasted about 8 minutes , because already in the 30th of the game it was Daniel who was ahead of the Catalans after a great play on the left wing. The local team imposed their law, which was close to scoring 3-1. And although Antonio Vadillo’s team kept trying, the match went to the showers with that final 2-1.

Despite the stick, there has been a great futsal match in Barcelona. Palma has shown his face at all times, and made it clear that he is one of the favorites to win the league title. Those of Vadillo, with this defeat and one game less than the Levante, fell to second position with 37 points.
