Vaccination center Pallieterland in Lier has already produced 109,292 vaccines until Wednesday. The first 1,400 invitations for 12 to 15 year olds went out today, Thursday.

“The 12- to 15-year-olds can receive a Pfizer vaccine from July 26. The biggest difference with the vaccination of 16 to 18 year olds is that they need permission from their parent(s) or guardian to be vaccinated. This can be done by going to the vaccination center together with the parent(s) or guardian, or by bringing a letter of consent. On the website laatjevaccineren.be you will find a sample letter”, says the mayor of Lierse Frank Boogaerts (N-VA).
In the Pallieterland Primary Care Zone, meanwhile, nearly 88% of 18-64 year-olds received at least one dose and nearly 42% of them are fully vaccinated. Nearly 96% of the over-65s received at least one dose and nearly 88% are fully vaccinated. If we look at the entire population of ELZ Pallieterland, more than 74% received at least one dose and more than 44% are fully vaccinated.
In ELZ Pallieterland, 1,401 people have so far refused a vaccine because they do not want it.
