This is not the first time Mohammad Rizwan has been noticed for expressing his religious beliefs. Previously, Rizwan was widely praised for showing respect for his religion by gifting a copy of the Holy Quran to one of his professors at the Harvard campus.
The Pakistani star also expressed his condolences over the train disaster in Odisha’s Balasore. Rizwan wrote on social media that loss of human life is always sad. Rizwan also responded that his prayers are with the people affected by the disaster.
After the program ended on June 3, Rizwan decided to stay in the US for a few more days. Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has also come to the US with the star. Apart from Rizwan, football players like Kaka, Gerard Pique, basketball players like Chris Paul and Paul Gasol also came to participate in the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.
At the same time, some Twitter users suggested that Muhammad Rizwan’s act was for fame and attention on social media and instead of praying on the side of the road, he should have gone to the nearby mosque to pray.
