OYO Indonesia Launches VaccinAid – Lampung News Portal

KATALAMPUNG.COM – In the midst of the second wave of the pandemic, the OYO accommodation network (OYO Indonesia) continues to strengthen its commitment to maximize service for customers with high-level operational standards of cleanliness and safety. This commitment is reflected in its latest initiative, the VaccinAid program, which is a long-term program from OYO to ensure the properties of partners and their workers have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Currently, the VaccinAid program is focused on vaccinating frontline workers, such as receptionists, security and cleaners at various OYO partner properties in Indonesia.

The main objective of this initiative is to encourage awareness and social strengthening among OYO partner hotels to obtain a vaccine against COVID-19. Vaccinaid will be part of the hotel booking process carried out by OYO customers, with VaccinAid, OYO app users will have visibility of any hotel in the OYO network with staff who have been vaccinated, either with the first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This allows users to feel more secure when they start booking hotels. This initiative departs from the findings of an internal OYO survey which showed that 87% of survey respondents stated that they prefer hotels with vaccinated staff when they return to hotel stays.

Agus Hartono Wijaya, Country Head, OYO Hotels and Homes Indonesia said, “As a player in the hospitality sector, it is our priority to help reduce the transmission rate of COVID-19. One of OYO’s efforts is to present VaccinAid to ensure a high level of security for customers, as well as support the government in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination.”

“The property owner partners also find it helpful to have the guidance and direction provided by OYO regarding the vaccination program in the operational area of each property, so that they can more easily get vaccines for property employees, especially operational staff in the field serving OYO customers. directly.”

“We also actively continue to communicate with related parties to accelerate the implementation of the VaccinAid program for our property partners spread across various parts of Indonesia,” said Harto.

The VaccinAid program is currently running and is divided into three stages. First, OYO proactively registers partner properties in the OYO Indonesia network to see whether the workers at the property have been vaccinated or not, to then be advised and directed to the nearest vaccination center in the property’s operational area.

The next stage, OYO will actively re-verify to ensure workers at the partner properties have been vaccinated. The final stage, properties that have verified COVID-19 vaccination, will be given the “VaccinAid” label listed on the OYO application, so as to provide security for customers who wish to stay overnight that the workers at the property have been fully vaccinated.

To date, more than 50 OYO properties spread across the islands of Java and Bali have been vaccinated and have received the VaccinAid label. OYO targets that at least 100 of its partner properties can get the “VaccinAid” label by the end of July 2021 and accelerated every following month.

In order to increase trust and the best experience for loyal OYO customers, the vaccination program as OYO Indonesia’s support for efforts to accelerate vaccination targets in Indonesia is also manifested in vaccination activities for employees and the surrounding community. Supported by the Kenari Village Health Office, Senen District, OYO has held a two-day vaccination program at OYO Townhouse Salemba and reached more than 300 participants.
