Oyem, March 28, 2024 (AGP) – The governor of the province of Oyem, Jules Djeki, proceeded, this Wednesday, March 27, to the installation of special municipal and departmental delegations from the province of Woleu-Ntem.
The special delegates from the departments of Woleu, Ntem, Haut-Ntem, Okano and Haut-Como were installed by the first authority of the province.
Furthermore, in the commune of Oyem, it is the deputy special delegates of the commune, special district delegates, titular and deputies who have taken up their respective functions.
The same ceremony was repeated for the special delegations from all the other departments of the province. This time by the special delegate of the commune of Oyem, Jean Christophe Owono Nguema, who called on his colleagues to spare no effort for the influence of the town of Oyem.
The governor of the province, Jules Djeki, reminded all those promoted of their obligation to achieve results in the particular context of the current political transition.
”You have a ready-made roadmap, it is the Transition Charter. Try to remember it and translate it into action in the daily fulfillment of your responsibilities. Know how to deserve the trust that has been placed in you by the President of the Transition, Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema for whom the well-being of the Gabonese population is a constant concern,” declared Jules Djeki, congratulating the graduates to whom he also wished good continuation.
For his part, the retired colonel of Prison Security, Praxede Aurelie Essono spoke on behalf of the deputy special delegates of the province
”This ceremony is also that of the commitment of our responsibilities towards the appointing authority and the populations that we have come to serve, but also the responsibility towards the history of the life of Gabon and responsibility towards ourselves,’ she said.
