While installing the traditional Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center, New York (United States), a man discovered a small owl, nestled inside the 23-meter tree. As reported by New York Post, the latter would have spent three days there and seemed in bad shape when she was released.
The wife of the team member who discovered the bird then contacted the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center New York, a non-profit wildlife organization. The latter explained to the American daily that the little owl would have remained stuck in the tree during its trip to New York.
“Three days without eating or drinking”
Although she went three days without eating or drinking, she would still be in good health. The Ravensbeard Wildlife Center said, “Once she receives a checkup she will be released to continue her wild and wonderful journey.” As a wink, the little owl was named “Rockefeller” by members of the organization.
