The new set of measures may only remain unchanged until Monday – the risk score is still at 70 points. In such a case, the Minister of Health, Jan Blatný, promised further mitigation of the measures.

What measures have been in place since Wednesday morning?

Some pupils return to school

After about a month’s break, freshmen and sophomores return to primary schools, and after two weeks, special schools also open. Veils will now be mandatory everywhere in schools. There will be a ban on singing and physical training and it should be ventilated frequently. Classes will not be divided into smaller groups as in the spring, but students from different classes should not meet.

Stores must limit the number of shoppers

Each customer must have an area of ​​15 square meters for themselves when purchasing. Vendors are required to manage queues inside and in front of stores and to monitor compliance with two-meter spacing between people. At the same time, the closing time is extended from the current 19:59 to 21:00, when the curfew begins to apply.

Dispensing windows can be open longer

From now on, catering establishments may have longer dispensing windows open. The current interval from 6:00 to 20:00 has been extended to 5:00 to 21:00. At this time, they can serve hotels and similar facilities in their restaurants.

He is allowed to play sports on outdoor sports grounds

With effect from today, the anti-coronavirus measure also includes another exemption from the ban on the free movement of people during the day. Exceptions for trips to nature or to the park have been added the possibility of free movement for the purpose of sports on outdoor sports grounds. Exceptions also go to work to work, to family, loved ones or to the doctor.

More people are allowed to attend the wedding

As of today, 15 people are allowed to attend weddings, funerals or services, so far it has been ten.

Dog salons are opening

The government has allowed the operation of establishments providing the service of grooming and grooming dogs and cats. As early as the spring, when the cabinet began to relax measures against the spread of coronavirus, animal salons could open in the first wave of dismantling, along with artisan establishments. The reopening of animal salons, for example in front of hairdressers, barbershops and similar services, was justified by government officials in the spring because of the lower risk of infection.
