The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria is already 730,140. 3,025,943 PCRs and 4,191,951 antigen tests have been performed (a total of 7,217,894), and the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 10.11 percent – again by 0.02% on a daily basis.

The active cases are slightly increasing and are now 95,970, which is 102 more than in the previous report. However, there is a decrease in the number of hospitalized persons, as they are 4241, which is 59 less (410 were admitted to hospital, 469 were discharged). There are 493 patients admitted to intensive care units – no change on a daily basis. 1305 people have recovered and the total number is now 603 811. 56 people have died – 8 less than on Tuesday, when there were 64 victims. Thus, the total number of those who lost the battle with the virus in Bulgaria is already 30,359.

The Ministry of Health has already provided data on the proportion of those infected, hospitalized and deceased who have not been fully vaccinated. During the last 24 hours, 77.51 percent of those who tested positive were not immunized. 85.61% of those admitted to hospital are also unvaccinated. 94.64% of those who died during the day were not vaccinated.
