The practice common to many big-budget video games today, namely outsourcing development to third parties, also applies to Obsidian Entertainment’s role-playing game Avowed.
Confirmation came directly from Devoted Studioswho said they “played their part in creating some majestic 3D objects that will bring the fantasy universe of Avowed to life, from the intricate character designs and mesmerizing creatures featured in the gameplay trailer, to heroic props and majestic ships.”
Thus, to bring the creative vision of Avowed to life, Obsidian Entertainment uses the skills and experience of the team at Devoted Studios, a true video game development giant with more than 1,400 designers, artists and programmers who specialize in the use of graphics engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
In addition to creating video game graphics assets trusted by international clients, Devoted Studios provides expertise in areas such as optimization, pre-release testing and technology support.
By the way, this is not the first third-party company to help in development – the Russian studio Blacksteinn also helps in the creation of assets. As a reminder, there are many improvements to be made to Avowed’s graphics and lighting.
