The goal of the Tricolor da Boa Terra is about to undergo major changes. While monitoring the situation of goalkeeper Danilo Fernandes, currently third in the position at Internacional, Bahia has sent Douglas Friedrich’s loan to Juventude. Information about the negotiation has disagreements: while at the Caxias club, the conversations were admitted, by the squadron’s side, according to journalist Pedro Petrucci, from the GZH portal, a source at the club confirmed that the agreement is underway.

“Everyone knows that we are looking for a goalkeeper to make up the group, and Douglas is among those we consulted. In the beginning, the situation did not go far. Now we are waiting for Bahia to be able to negotiate. It’s a situation that could have an outcome in the next few days”, declared Osvaldo Pioner, Youth’s soccer vice-president.
Douglas Friedrich has been in the Tricolor since 2018, he was the Squadron’s goalkeeper for three seasons, but he dropped out of performance and ended up being passed over by Dado Cavalcanti. Currently, the holder of the position is Matheus Teixeira. The loss of space meant that Douglas did not even play for Brasileirão 2022.
