KOMPAS.com – Bogor Regent Ade Munawaroh Yasin or Ade Yasin was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in a sting operation (OTT).
The arrest operation was carried out from Tuesday (26/4/2022) night to Wednesday (27/4/2022) morning.
Apart from Ade Yasin, the KPK also secured several parties from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) representing West Java and confiscated some money.
Ironically, two days before being arrested by the KPK, Ade Yasin had issued a Circular on Corruption Prevention and Gratification Control related to Hari Raya.

Through the SE, Ade prohibits officials, State Civil Apparatus (ASN), leaders, and BUMD employees from requesting, giving, and receiving gratuities related to their positions or authorities associated with holidays or the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It is mandatory to be a good role model for the community by not requesting, giving and receiving gratuities related to positions and contrary to their obligations or duties,” said Ade Yasin, Monday (4/25/2022).
“Requests for funds or gifts as THR or with other names by officials and ASN or BUMD employees, either individually or on behalf of institutions to the public, companies, in writing or unwritten, are prohibited acts and can have implications for criminal acts of corruption,” he explained. .
Currently, the KPK is still investigating the arrested parties. Developments related to the alleged bribery case will be conveyed within 1×24 hours.
