Vienna. On Sunday, DAÖ founding member and club chairman Karl Baron announced in a press conference that other FPÖ politicians from Burgenland are overflowing to the “Alliance for Austria”. The Alliance for Austria (DAÖ) now has the first supporters outside of Vienna – specifically in Burgenland : The chairman of the FPÖ district group Oberpullendorf, Herbert Adelmann, announced his move in a joint press conference with DAÖ chairman Karl Baron on Sunday. He also takes a large part of his team with him.
A total of 14 out of 20 FPÖ district group members join the alliance, as Adelmann reported. The Alliance for Austria was founded at the end of 2019 by three renegade Vienna FPÖ councilors. In the meantime, former FPÖ chairman Heinz-Christian Strache has announced that he will be included in the Vienna election for the list in autumn
