‘Journal I’ makes revelations
‘Jornal I’ reveals in its printed edition this Wednesday that the alleged assailants of Nicolás Otamendi were chased by the GNR in the Trafaria area, in Almada, but managed to escape. The chase and escape took place less than 24 hours after the attack on the home of the Benfica central. The same newspaper added that the men in question speak Spanish and Russian and are of impressive physical size. Remember that the Argentine international was surprised when he arrived at his home, located in a luxury condominium in Aroeira (Almada), by the five assailants, who were hooded and armed with screwdrivers. They caught Otamendi, beat him and put a belt around his neck. After they tied him up, they walked into the room with him, stealing watches, money and jewelry. According to ‘Correio da Manhã’, the robbery earned 300 thousand euros.
