In the first round match, Ostapenko / Zvonarjova defeated the duo of Belarusian Viktoya Azarenka and Czech Karolina Muhova with 1-6, 6-4, 10: 4.

This victory gave Ostapenko and Zvonarjova 100 doubles ranking points.

In the second round of the tournament, the Latvian and Russian tennis duo will meet with the winner of Elisa Bertens / Arina Sabaļenka and Jesika Malečkova / Čantala Skamlova’s duel.
