ORIGYN Foundation partners with UEFA Foundation for Children to premiere ‘NFTs for Good’ on Impossible Things Marketplace

NEUCHÂTEL, Switzerland

The ORIGYN Foundation, a Swiss non-profit foundation specializing in identification, authentication and unlocking the potential of ownership of valuables, has announced a partnership with the UEFA Foundation for Children. ORIGYN and the UEFA Foundation for Children will work together to create a unique range of collectibles and NFTs that directly benefit the foundation’s goal of strengthening children’s rights in areas such as health, education and inclusion.

As a key part of ORIGYN’s ‘NFTs for Good’ initiative, ORIGYN and the UEFA Foundation will launch a limited edition collection of physical collectibles for children. A corresponding digital twin will be created for each of the unique memorabilia, including one of the tossing coins that helped determine the outcome of the UEFA EURO 2020 final between England and Italy.

“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with ORIGYN to bring these important things to the international stage – for the benefit of the UEFA Foundation for Children,” said Urs Kluser, general secretary of the UEFA Foundation for Children. “We share a vision to use next-generation technologies like NFTs to raise money for children and global citizens around the world. There is no better common mission.”

ORIGYN is the only platform that links the digital certificate to the world’s most valuable physical artifacts and collectibles. These digital twins are non-interchangeable, unique and in many cases linked to a corresponding physical object. The iconic coin will be minted by ORIGYN as a digital twin NFT and will be auctioned alongside the physical coin in Q2 2022, along with other rare collectibles from the foundation.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have partnered with a foundation that shares our passion for helping children around the world. NFTs are a global technology and should benefit everyone,” said Daniel Haudenschild, CEO of ORIGYN Enterprise.

This series of unique sports collectibles from the UEFA Foundation for Children and their corresponding digital twin NFTs will be available exclusively on the ‘Impossible Things’ marketplace powered by ORIGYN. ‘Impossible Things’ offers collectors the opportunity to buy, sell and experience unique and authenticated collectibles.

The ‘Impossible Things’ marketplace will launch in Q2 2022 with an ‘Impossible Pass’ that will give holders priority access to all limited collections that will be released on the marketplace.

“Leveraging ORIGYN’s proprietary technology and unique, consumer-friendly platform ‘Impossible Things’ allows us to support charitable organizations like the UEFA Foundation for Children, as well as collectors and investors who care about the goods they buy and the cultures that surround them demand authenticity”, sagte Tom Flanagan, Managing Director von ORIGYN Collectibles.
