HAS THE DISCOUNT – A few weeks after announcing it, Audi opens orders and announces the price of the 40 TFSI, the rechargeable hybrid version of theA3 Sportback. It costs 39,200 euros, however, in light of the reduced carbon dioxide emissions (24 g / km), it is entitled to state incentives, therefore to a discount of up to 6,500 euros with the scrapping of an old car. The first deliveries are expected from November.
TWO ENGINES – L’Audi A3 Sportback 40 TFSI and has a plug-in hybrid system with externally rechargeable batteries. The powertrain consists of a 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, the 1.4 TFSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque, and an electric engine with 109 hp and 330 Nm, integrated in the 6-speed S tronic robotic double clutch transmission. Overall, the hybrid system delivers 204 hp and 350 Nm.
PARCA OR BRIGHT – Powered by the electric motor only, theAudi A3 Sportback 40 TFSI and travels up to 67 km with a “full” current and reaches a top speed of 140 km / h. However, when higher performance is sought, the internal combustion engine also kicks in and the compact reaches a top speed of 227 km / h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.6 seconds.
IN 2021 ANOTHER PLUG-IN – The German company has announced that a second plug-in hybrid version of the Audi A3 Sportback will be launched next year: it should be the one with 245 CV and sportier look.
