After weeks of production bottlenecks in China, Apple only has two iPhones of one model purchased per order in its online store.
This means that customers have received a warning message since Friday, for example, if they add three iPhone 11 Pro devices to their shopping cart – there are no problems with two iPhone 11 Pro and one iPhone 11.

Apple had already warned in February that there might be temporary bottlenecks in iPhone stocks due to the corona virus crisis. The factories of Apple manufacturers such as Foxconn were started up much slower than planned after the Chinese New Year holidays due to travel restrictions.
The Apple stores outside of China are closed until further notice and customers have to switch to the online shop. The 40 or so stores in China are now open normally again.
